We are now half way through our second anarchic week of rehearsals for Alice | A Virtual Theme Park. This mad, interactive show is going to be filled with magic and wonder and we can’t wait until you can all join us by journeying down the rabbit whole.

As many of you already know, we have a longstanding partnership with the wonderful Creation Theatre in Oxford (https://www.creationtheatre.co.uk/) Our last co-production of Tempest Live received raving reviews (4 Stars “Magical…The stuff dreams are made on.”  The Guardian) and we are extremely excited to be partnering with them again for this extraordinary production. To make this project even more exciting, we are teaming up with Charisma.ai, (https://charisma.ai/) ground-breakers in interactive and immersive storytelling technology, meaning we can blend live acting with the latest in AI and online video techniques. Our minds have been blown and we think yours will be too.

The creative team also includes playwright Charlotte Keatley (best known for her award-winning play My Mother Said I Never Should, described as one of the significant plays of the 20th century), the phenomenal costume and set designer Ryan Dawson Laight (who beautifully designed our co-production of The Tempest and our production of Worst Cafe) illusions by the magical Paul McEneaney (Cahoots Theatre) and making sure everything runs smoothly is Giles Stoakley and our Zoom Wizard, Sinéad Owens.

Our cast are incredible and we are having the best time playing with them in rehearsals, The production features Leda Douglas as Alice, Vera Chok as the Queen of Hearts, Dharmesh Patel as The Mad Hatter, Colm Gormley as the March Hare (you may remember him from our previous production of Melmoth the Wanderer) Tom Richardson as Tweedle Dee/Dum, Annabelle Terry as the Dormouse/Cook (who also appeared in The Tempest Live) and Nicky Harley as the White Rabbit (no stranger to a Big Telly show).
